Whether through his work as an INTENSITY™ Master Trainer or his time shaping athletes at ICE All-Stars, Shane brought an unmatched energy that made people better—not just as competitors, but as individuals.
To the Stingray Nation, the Chicago community, and the countless athletes he mentored, Shane was a guiding light. He had a rare gift: the ability to break down complex skills while lifting people up at the same time. He didn’t just teach tumbling or cheerleading—he taught perseverance, curiosity, and excellence. And somehow, he made it all feel exciting, even when it was hard.
On a personal level, Shane was unforgettable. From being one of those first roommates fresh out of high school to sharing years of cheer, coaching, and life across different states, the memories are endless.
